|Nonprofits can apply for grants from Green Lake Basic Needs Fund - March 1 2013
Green Lake, Wis. - The Green Lake County/Ripon Community Foundation welcomes nonprofits to apply for grants from the Green Lake Basic Needs Fund.
Grants will fund programs that address basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter for residents of Green Lake County.
The Green Lake Basic Needs Fund of the Green Lake County/Ripon Community Foundation aims to provide funds for nonprofit organizations with a proven record of success in maintaining programs that address the root causes of poverty and prevent people in episodic crisis from developing a chronic need.
In 2012, the Green Lake Basic Needs Fund awarded $18,000 out of $38,777 in aid sought from nonprofit organizations.

The Green Lake County/Ripon Community Foundation is a Designated Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation to benefit charitable organizations in the Green Lake County and Ripon area, including Berlin, Green Lake, Markesan and Princeton.
