Nonprofits can apply for Green Lake County Area United Fund grants - April 19 2013

Oshkosh, Wis. - Green Lake County Area United Fund invites nonprofits to apply for grants that support essential programs and services locally.

Grants will fund programs that focus on nurturing children, strengthening families, building self-sufficiency, promoting health and wellness and caring for people in crisis. Eligible recipients should serve residents of Green Lake County including those communities outside Green Lake County that are served by the Berlin Area School District.

In 2012, the Green Lake County Area United Fund awarded $19,000 in aid to 15 nonprofit organizations. This special project fund of the Green Lake County/Ripon Community Foundation was established in 2005 with the purpose of assisting agencies that help local people.

The Green Lake County/Ripon Community Foundation is a Designated Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation to benefit charitable organizations in the Green Lake County and Ripon area, including Berlin, Green Lake, Markesan and Princeton.
