Foundation invites nonprofits to apply for youth grants - December 27 2013

OSHKOSH, WI - Nonprofit organizations that create opportunities for children and support youth development are invited to submit applications for youth program and campership grants from the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation.

Grants are open to projects or programs that provide services to children in Winnebago County. Typical grant awards are $5,000 or less. Nearly $35,000 in grants was awarded to 15 different organizations in spring of 2013.

The application deadline is Jan. 10, 2014.

Grants from a variety of youth-related field of interest funds held by the Foundation typically support projects or programs that:
  • provide scholarships for children to attend camp;
  • provide environmental education or outdoor learning experiences;
  • establish new services for youth where there is a documented need;
  • strengthen existing programs; and/or
  • supply adaptive equipment to children with disabilities.
