United Fund invites nonprofits to apply for grants - April 15 2014

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Green Lake County Area United Fund invites nonprofit organizations to apply for grant funding in 2014.

The United Fund supports projects and programs that care for people in crisis, improve individuals' overall physical and mental wellness and nurture children and youth. In 2013, $30,000 was awarded to 19 organizations.

Eligible nonprofits must provide services in Green Lake County, including communities outside the county that are served by the Berlin Area School District. Priority will be given to projects or programs that:
  • Care for neighbors in crisis by providing a viable safety net of health and human services to ensure emergency needs of individuals and families are met.

  • Improve health and wellness by promoting the overall physical and mental wellness of individuals through health, education and support programs.

  • Nurture children and youth by investing in young people through programs that educate, enrich and encourage them to reach their full potential.
The grant application deadline is May 15.
