Foundation welcomes Neitzel to development, communications team - October 19 2016

OSHKOSH, WI - The Oshkosh Area Community Foundation is pleased to announce Katie Neitzel has joined the team as Development and Communications Coordinator.

Neitzel's expertise in marketing and the nonprofit sector will help advance the Foundation's marketing strategy and meet donor needs.

"We are thrilled to have a member of our team with Katie's talent and experience," said Bill Wyman, President and Chief Executive Officer. "Katie will engage our donors and the community on issues concerning both the Women's Fund and the Foundation, and ultimately, advance our strategic goals."

As Development and Communications Coordinator, Neitzel will split her time between the Foundation and the Women's Fund, its affiliate. Neitzel will manage communications and assist with programming and operations for the Women's Fund. For the Foundation, she will work to enhance Donor Services outreach, as well as collaborate on planning and implementing the Foundation's marketing strategy.

"I am excited to work for an organization that truly makes a difference in the communities we serve," Neitzel said. "It is very rewarding to be able to walk around my community and see the direct impact the organization is making."

Neitzel joins the Foundation with four years of experience in marketing and the nonprofit sector. Most recently, she was the Regional Development Specialist for Mercy Health Foundation and St. Elizabeth Hospital Foundation. A native of Menasha, Neitzel lives in Oshkosh with her husband, Brian, and their young sons Brody and Bennett.
