New education coordinator joins Community Foundation staff - February 16 2011

OSHKOSH, WI – Please join the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation in warmly welcoming Mary Beth Kelly to its staff. She's been on the job just over a month in a newly created position, starting just as the heavy activity time of the scholarship application season begins.

Kelly is serving as the Community Foundation's Education Coordinator. She is focused on the overall management of education funds and scholarships. Kelly will work with area high schools and colleges to make students aware of scholarships and oversee the selection and grant process. She also will work with education foundations in Omro, Winneconne, Green Lake, Ripon and Oshkosh, as well as with donors whose interests are in scholarship funds.

Kelly is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. She previously worked as an advocate for Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services Inc. in Oshkosh. Kelly lives in Oshkosh with her husband, Dan, and their three children.
