Grantseekers workshops set in Green Lake, Ripon - November 29 2011

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Green Lake County/Ripon Community Foundation is accepting grant applications from charitable groups in the Green Lake County and Ripon areas.

Two separate grants are being offered. Ripon Fund grants benefit Ripon and/or the Ripon Area School District; and Green Lake County/Ripon Community Foundation grants benefit communities in Green Lake County, including Berlin, Green Lake, Markesan and Princeton.

To assist potential grant seekers with the application process, the Community Foundation will hold two workshops in the region on Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at the following times and locations:
  • Noon, Caestecker Public Library, 518 Hill St., Green Lake
  • 2 p.m., M&I Bank, 333 Blackburn St., Ripon

To be considered for funding, grant applications must meet emerging needs, support charitable projects and programs offered by nonprofits, strengthen a nonprofit or more effectively serve residents of the region.

The Green Lake County/Ripon Community Foundation is a Designated Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation to benefit charitable organizations in the Green Lake County and Ripon area, including Berlin, Green Lake, Markesan and Princeton.
