Nonprofits encouraged to apply for elderly grants - November 29 2012

OSHKOSH, WI - Nonprofit organizations that serve the needs of the older population are invited to apply for grants from the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation.

To be considered for funding, applicants must show that will improve the health and well-being of low-income residents age 55 and older in the Oshkosh area.

Grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded in April 2013. Larger grants for capital campaigns also will be considered. Support for this grant program is provided by the Ladies Benevolent Society: Advocates for Older Adults Fund, a field of interest fund with the Community Foundation.
