Nonprofits urged to apply for grants to fund youth programs - December 21 2012

OSHKOSH, WI - The Oshkosh Area Community Foundation invites nonprofits to apply for grants to support youth programs and camp experiences.

These grants are available for a variety of purposes, including support for:
  • Programs that promote positive youth development.
  • New services for which there is a documented need.
  • Environmental education and/or outdoor learning experiences.
  • Existing youth programs that show continued need.
  • Adaptive equipment for children with disabilities.
  • Sending children in need to camp experiences.

Youth and campership grants are available to nonprofits that serve children in Winnebago, Waushara and Green Lake counties, and the city of Ripon.

The deadline to apply for grant support is Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013.
