Community Foundation continues its search for new leader - December 27 2012

OSHKOSH, WI - The Oshkosh Area Community Foundation is in the process of hiring a search firm to assist with the hiring of its new president and chief executive officer.

The Community Foundation's Search Committee plans to have a consultant in place by the end of January. The timeline for the search is undetermined, but committee Chair Marcy Coglianese says she hopes to be interviewing job candidates by the end of April.

"This is a very important position, not only for the Community Foundation but also for the communities we serve," Coglianese said. "We want the best possible candidate, and we want to do this right, so it may take some time."

Eileen Connolly-Keesler left the Community Foundation on Nov. 15 after 13 years as its president and CEO. In January, she will become president and CEO of the Community Foundation for Collier County in Naples, Fla. Former Board Chair William Wyman of Oshkosh is serving as interim president during the search for Connolly-Keesler's successor.

The Community Foundation suspended its search for a new president and CEO as the holiday season began, but will continue to accept resumes from job candidates. All resumes collected so far and in the future will be reviewed by the yet-to-be-hired search consultant.

Details about the position are on the Community Foundation's online job listings.
