Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh, Inc. Education Foundation

Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh Inc. is a private faith-based school system with campuses in the city of Oshkosh. Its student body includes nearly 700 children at its facilities, which include two elementary schools, a middle school and high school. Lourdes Academy offers an education based on Catholic teachings and welcomes children of all faiths. Lourdes Academy Middle School and High School have a 100 percent graduation rate with 96 percent of graduates pursuing post-secondary degrees. The school system is affiliated with five parishes, three in Oshkosh, one in Omro and one in Winneconne. Lourdes Academy strives for a safe, Christ centered environment that prepares students for life, college and a relationship with God.

Fund Management

Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh Inc., known as United Catholic Schools until 2012, began its partnership with the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation in 2006. The Community Foundation manages two funds for the school system, Lourdes Foundation Fund and Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh Inc. Fund. There are numerous additional funds (listed below) that benefit the mission of these two funds.

The Lourdes Foundation Fund is a designated fund started in 2007 with the purpose of supporting the general operations of Lourdes Academy. The Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh Inc. Fund is a designated fund started in 2006 to provide tuition assistance for students to attend Lourdes Academy campuses, compensation for teachers and staff, support for teachers to upgrade their skills through professional development, and resources for the schools.
