Neenah High School Students Awarded $67,950 in Scholarships

The Neenah Joint School District has awarded a total of $67,950 in scholarships to 43 Neenah High School seniors.

Recipients, who were honored during a ceremony on May 22 at Pickard Auditorium at Neenah High School, were chosen by a volunteer committee of the school district. The following award winners were selected based on outstanding work in the classroom, extra-curricular activities and community involvement.

Stephanie Amundson: $500 – Raymond & Mary Brengosz Memorial Scholarship
Amanda Argall: $1,000 – Frank X College Scholarship
Miquela Bartman: $1,000 – Ann L. Dobbins Memorial Nursing Scholarship
Rachel Blank: $500 – Friends of Education Scholarship
Breanna Borgan: $1,000 – Theda Clark Smith Foundation Scholarship
Elise Braunel: $1,000 – Senior Class Scholarship; $1,500 – Jean Kessler Neenah Girls Basketball Scholarship
Josie Cleveland: $500 – William Heidke Scholarship
Brittany Fahnestock: $1,000 – Helping Hands Scholarship; $1,500 – Neenah Community Scholarship
Karina Fritsch: $1,000 – Robert & Elizabeth McLeod Memorial Scholarship
Elizabeth Gartland: $1,000 – Josh Carter State Farm Scholarship
Eli Goethel: $1,000 – Maureen McAvoy Memorial Scholarship

The Oshkosh Area Community Foundation manages nearly 50 funds for the Neenah Joint School District, including scholarship, designated and special project funds.
