The Helen A. Beach Fund is a designated fund to support vocation education programs and classrooms in Oshkosh public schools.
Helen A. Beach was the wife of Orville Beach, a late 19th century industrialist. The couple made Oshkosh their home for 25 years. When Mrs. Beach passed away in 1907, she left the couple’s estate to the city for the purpose of building the Orville Beach Memorial Manual Training School in Oshkosh (on Algoma Boulevard) and supporting vocation education programs.
