Omro Area Scholarship and Education Foundation
The School District of Omro serves the educational needs of more than 1,200 children at its facilities located in Omro, Wis., in Winnebago County. The district includes one high school, a middle school, one elementary school, and a pre-kindergarten learning site.
The Omro Area Scholarship and Education Foundation aims to encourage individuals to further their education by providing financial assistance for studies beyond high school in their chosen field and to provide financial assistance directly to the school district to enhance programming throughout the schools.
Fund Management
The Omro Area Scholarship and Education Foundation began its partnership with the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation in 2003. Many of the funds have decades-long history within the community dating back to the creation of the Omro High School Scholarship Fund in 1991 and the Omro Community Scholarship Corporation in 1993.
