Neenah Joint School District

The Neenah Joint School District educates more than 6,000 children at its campuses located in Neenah, Wis., which is in northern Winnebago County. The district includes one high school (grades 9-12), a middle school (grades 7-8), a sixth grade learning center, eight elementary schools , one early learning center and one charter school. The district’s educational approach is designed as a comprehensive academic program for students from kindergarten through their senior high school year.

Fund Management

In 2012, the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation began a partnership to manage the district’s charitable funds. Many of the funds have decades-long history, including the Neenah Joint School District Scholarship Fund. Others are more recently created, such as the Neenah Tomorrow Fund, to address current needs in the district. The Neenah Tomorrow Fund is a creative approach for the district to cope with limited government resources. Donors can make an unrestricted gift to the Neenah Tomorrow Fund and allow the Board of Education to direct those fund to emerging needs within the district, or a program or facility need that allows donors and PTAs to support precisely what they’re passionate about.
