Building Lauree’s Trail

In 2008, Lauree Renaud dreamed of developing a network of safe walking and biking trails in Green Lake County that would connect area communities and the people in them. She soon founded a non-profit organization called Green Lake Greenways. Your Community Foundation helped the organization establish a fund for donors to support the project and develop what is now know as Lauree’s Trail.

Teachers’ Closet Ensures Teachers Get Needed Supplies

The Teachers’ Closet Fund at the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation was established in order to ensure The Closet continues to receive funding, and carries on in perpetuity. As budgets have continued to tighten in schools, this is one way to alleviate some of the burden for teachers, who otherwise pay for classroom supplies themselves.
