Oshkosh Area School District Education Foundation

“Making a difference in the Oshkosh public schools, one donation at a time”

The Oshkosh Area School District is a public school system that educates more than 10,000 children from early childhood through 12th grade. The district includes 15 elementary schools (grades 4K-5), five middle schools (grades 6-8), two high schools (grades 9-12) and two charter schools. Our mission is to provide fiscal resources to enhance the educational experience in the Oshkosh Area School District.  We engage the community in supporting Oshkosh public schools and are committed to providing resources for innovation, fine arts, athletics, scholarships, basic needs and other resources to enhance students’ lives. The Foundation fuels this new and innovative programming through teacher-driven grant requests. Scholarships and grants to teachers and students fund special class projects and provide special assistance to students and school programs. This funding helps teachers implement creative ideas that expand their students’ academic experiences – inspiring lifelong learning and success.

Fund Management

The Oshkosh Area School District began its relationship with the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation in 2012. Through this partnership the school district and the Community Foundation develop funds to provide resources for innovation, fine arts, athletics, scholarships, and other resources to enhance students’ lives.
