Ripon Education Foundation Awards Students $39,000 in Scholarships
The Ripon Education Foundation (REF) has awarded a total of $39,000 in scholarships to 26 Ripon High School graduates.
A community-based volunteer committee chose the following recipients based on outstanding work in the classroom, extra-curricular activities, and community involvement:
Adam Banerjee: $1,000 – Ralph Quinney Memorial Business Scholarship
Lucy Beuthin: $500 – REF Lottery Scholarship, $1,000 – REF Merit Scholarship
Brandon Carlson: $1,000 – Class of ’89 Legacy Scholarship
Kylie Disterhaft: $1,000 – REF Lottery Scholarship
Christian Grunert: $500 – REF Lottery Scholarship, $1,000 – Tracy O’Brien Memorial Scholarship
Corbin Hein: $1,000 – Ripon High School Class of 1969 Scholarship
Caleb Hopp: $5,000 – Justin Krueger Trade Scholarship
Drew Kastenschmidt: $1,500 – William Crook Memorial Scholarship, $1,000 – Tracy O’Brien Memorial Scholarship
Emily Kasuboski: $1,000 – REF Initiative Scholarship
Sophia Kent: $500 – REF Lottery Scholarship
Bailey Long: $1,000 – REF Merit Scholarship

Isaac Whitrock: $1,000 – REF Merit Scholarship
Jordyn Will: $1,000 – Class of ’89 Legacy Scholarship
Alice Yang: $1,500 – Alliance Laundry Systems Scholarship
